Windows Server Standard R2 2012 Download ISO RRS feed

  • i have a license for Windows Server Standard R2 2012, but i don't have the installation, and i tin can't notice the ISO anywhere. is there anywhere i can download the ISO?

    Microsoft Official website only provide the evaluation of Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter 64-bit ISO for download, in general, we can convert from evaluation to retail version using command line below with your own license:
    DISM /online /Fix-Edition: <edition ID> /ProductKey: <your product license> /AcceptEula

    However, you had Standard version license key, and it is unable to exercise to a higher place operation, that ways convert from Datacenter evaluation version to Standard retail version is not supported.

    In full general, y'all tin can obtain installation medium(physical media or .iso file) from the license sealer/provider, may be you tin contact them and enquire for installation medium.

  • What is a person supposed to do if they accept oem 2012r2, and want to create a Gen2 VM since we can accept 2 vm's. Gen2 VM requires 2012R2 ISO file, but yous cannot create a useable 2012R2 iso file from the DVD every bit windows sees the trouble with it during VM installation.

    Your just choice is the eval download. merely y'all cant use it because y'all are oem?
